A barrier on the other hand, is an emotional constraint to your development, which can be unhealthy. In this Activity, you will learn to distinguish between the two as well as how to shift from fear to empowerment.

An emotional boundary requires your skills to transcend challenges and overcome negative emotions, learning and growing along the way. A barrier, however, keeps us stuck through resistance to pain, or our inability to see another perspective clearly.
